We've had lots of
comments about the steel compensator from shooters of the Marvel 1911
.22 LR Conversion Unit. Most love the way it reduces muzzle lift. However,
while some shooters like a muzzle-heavy balance, many don't. True, the
steel compensator is a tad over 6 ounces hanging out there in front
of the gun.
Here's our answer:
The Marvel .22 LR Conversion Unit
Aluminum Compensator. It's
an exact twin of the steel one, except CNC precision-machined from high-quality
billet aluminum with a hard-anodized finish, all at a feathery 1.3 ounces.
It fits on the
barrel of 5.3" Marvel Units just like the steel one and is secured
the same. Most shooters have told us they don't notice the weight of it
now, which is what they wanted, but they get the reduced muzzle lift.
Optional aluminum compensator, shown with included allen key and two attaching
screws
(one is an extra).
